The Foam Factory has been in the foam and upholstery industry for more than three decades, first opening our doors in 1980.  As a family-owned and -operated business, we strive to offer excellent products at low prices and take pride in every item that passes through our doors. In addition to TheFoamFactory.com, we operate out of a brick-and-mortar facility located in Southeast Michigan where we both manufacture our products and sell them to the public. If you’re in town, you’re more than welcome to stop by and squeeze a cushion or take a memory foam topper for a test run in our mattress room. Everything we sell online can be purchased in-person at our store. Since we manufacture and sell our own products, we can give you advice, suggestions, and answer any questions you have, because nobody knows our products better than we do. Take comfort in knowing when you’re dealing with The Foam Factory, you’re dealing with real people, not a shady online operation.

One of our core principles is to offer quality products at the lowest possible prices, giving customers more for less. One of the ways we are able to do this is with our purchasing power and warehousing ability. Nearly 100,000 square feet in size, our facility gives us the space to buy materials in bulk. This allows us to create and customize our own products, rather than purchasing expensive prefabricated products that get marked up further. There is no middle man with The Foam Factory, which allows us to sell to our customers at factory-direct prices. Additionally, we are constantly keeping an eye on our competitors to ensure products are being offered at the lowest prices. To reinforce that commitment, we instituted the The Foam Factory Price-Match Guarantee, reassuring customers that our prices are the lowest they will find. On the off chance you find a different company offering an identical product at a lower price, we will match their price AND beat it by an additional 10 percent!

Superb Quality

It takes high-quality materials to make high-quality products. Every shipment we receive from our suppliers is subject to an on-going quality assurance process, starting by evaluating each bulk bun as it is unloaded, and continuing with inspection of the foam from the first cut, all the way to the final product. Every product we manufacture is made from brand-new foam, from our king-size memory foam pillows to our eggcrate packaging foam sets. We don’t buy second-rate materials to repurpose, and do not resell or repurpose used or damaged materials either. Even our shredded foam is made from the same never-used materials as our toppers and cushions. Our fleet of manufacturing machinery includes die-cutters that can produce tens of thousands of identical products, and many different computer-controlled machines with unrivaled precision and control. And for the custom product that requires something special, our staff has years of hand-cutting expertise to make just what you’re looking for.

Easy Ordering

Because everybody has their own personal preferences, we’ve tailored our ordering system to make sure everybody can feel comfortable buying from us. In addition to our online ordering system and our retail store, we also accept orders through phone, e-mail, and even fax, so you can choose the method that fits your life best. We’ve taken orders from customers who have never used computers before, as well as people who can’t remember the last time they bought something in a physical store. Our website provides detailed product descriptions, pictures, usage suggestions, material specification data sheets, fire safety test results, performance data, and a blog packed with ideas and information. We will even mail hardcopies of our in-store catalogs to customers at their request.
