Features
For excellent chemical resistance, and a general purpose cross-linked LDPE foam, check out Volara Type 2A foam. With a fine cellular structure, Type 2A foam has a variety of uses. This foam contains FDA compliant materials acceptable for food contact, and has been used in bottle cap liners for years. In addition, it is also ideal for a variety of industrial applications including industrial gaskets, construction gap filler, flooring underlay, and even custom packaging. Type 2A foam is an option for single and double coated PSA foam systems. Not only that, but it will thermoform and can be compression molded. Made in the USA.
Volara Type 2A's technical name is irradiation cross-linked polyolefin polyethylene foam.

Features
With its soft to the touch surface and overall durable nature, Volara Type 4EO foam is an EVA copolymer foam that offers a diverse range of possible applications. Ideal for use in medical devices as well as applications designed for skin contact thanks to the softness factor, this versatile solution is also an FDA compliant material which also makes Volara Type 4EO foam acceptable for food contact. Aside from the durability and softness factors, this foam is aided in the versatility aspect because it is capable of thermoforming and compression molding. Thanks to the nature of this exceptional material, Volara Type 4EO foam can even be used as a substrate for double-sided foam tape applications.
Volara Type 4EO's technical name is irradiation cross-linked polyolefin ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) foam.
